A novel approach to tackling the electric car. They seem to have most of the bases covered. The idea is great, and it’s nice that they considered that some people might actually drive more than 100 miles in one direction.

As a lover of fast cars and loud engines, I really hope this takes off. For those of you worried that this could be the demise of the gasoline car, I’d suggest looking at it the way Jeno Leno does. In an interview on his website (while driving a Mclaren F1), he said electric/hydrogen cars will do for hot rods and sports cars what the automobile did for the horse. Back in the day, horses were worked to the death and just left in the street. Now, they are still around, but used only as hobbies and entertainment. It’s better for the horses and the horse enthusiasts. I agree, and I believe the same will happen to sports cars in the era of electric and hydrogen vehicles.
