This has become a bit of a tradition for me, or maybe it’s more of a habit. Either way, every time I realize it’s the anniversary of 9/11, I head over to fark.com and read this:
It’s the original Fark thread on the morning of the attacks. It’s a pretty creepy read and it serves as a great snapshot of the nation’s mindset that morning. It’s very much worth the read. The 3rd comment from the bottom is particularly insightful.
